If there happens to be a spill of this type into the pool/spa water the CDC recommends that you follow the same procedure as when responding to a formed fecal accident.
The CDC has issued a Vomit and Blood Contamination of Pool Water fact sheet (pdf) that covers blood or vomit being in pool/spa water.
