Public Swimming Pool Program
Certified Operator Requirements
According to Clayton County’s Swimming Pool Regulations all public swimming pools and spas shall be maintained under the supervision and direction of a properly trained operator who shall be responsible for the sanitation, safety and proper maintenance of the pool and all physical and mechanical equipment and records.
Operator training can be obtained by completion of a course approved by the Georgia Department of Human Resources, Division of Public Health, Environmental Health Section.
