West Nile Virus

Mosquito on skin

The Clayton County Board of Health is responding to another season of West Nile virus (WNv). Ever since WNv reached metro Atlanta in 2001, the Board of Health has been working with the county's residents to reduce their risk of being bitten by mosquitoes. While collaborating with various state and county agencies, the Board of Health is focusing on reducing mosquito populations through education, surveillance, and control.
