Around the country during every month of the year, health agencies celebrate National Health Observances. These events, associated with a specific day, a week, or an entire month, bring awareness to chronic diseases, habits, and conditions impacting the health of Americans, such as smoking, teen pregnancy, and heart disease. Every year, the Clayton County Board of Health makes an effort to highlight the following health observances.
